Are the LED headlights standard on the 2016 3 series? I currently have a 16' 328xi loaner with only the premium package and cold weather package, black dakota leather with oyster highlight, and it has LED headlights (just halos) and LED foglights. However, when I configured one online it looked like the lights only changed when I added the luxury package. Can someone clear this up as to what the 2016 models come standard with?

I have a 13' 328i with the standard halogen lights, my question to you guys is what is the cheapest way of upgrading my lights to make them look like the LED lights, can I just replace my bulbs with led bulbs or no?

I am confused about this as well. I just picked up a 2016 328i this weekend. It does not have the lighting package but it has LED headlights. The sticker says that halogen headlights are standard but LED headlights are included. The configurator says halogens are standard so I have no idea what is going on.

Lci 328 has halogens standard and then led headlight when you add the premium package. If you had added the premium package you would get led headlights, now if you jave the led and add lighting package you get the adaptive leds that swivel left to right when you turn your wheel. The leds headlights that come with premium package are fixed and do not turn in conjunction with the steering wheel

Thanks. I was wondering why the premium package was so expensive. The sticker only lists comfort access, moonroof, lumbar support, and satellite radio as included.

It looks like the options will be LED headlights for $900, and adaptive LED headlights for ~$1900. I would gladly take the old Lighting Package (Adaptive Xenons) for $900 over either. Oh well.

I agree, I had a Mini Cooper S with LED lights and it had projector housing and I feel like those light were brighter. Unless to me they were brighter because the lights were higher up then the 330i.

I current own a 2017 bmw 320i with stock halogen light and I want to replace it with retrofit Lci headlight. The retrofit headlight are for 2015 models, but aren’t all bmw headlight unit the same size? So, it should be able to fit fine.

It's more than just the fit, there's also wiring and coding.

I am in the same boat as you. Got the car last November as a leftover so took what I could find.

I have read on other posts that the lights fit fine in an LCI 3 series. You can keep the halogen lights or add LEDs. LEDs will need to be coded out though because of the Canbus.

My issue is I am not sure about putting a style of lights that was never meant for the LCI. The new halos are much different.

Been on the fence for months and was hoping that Depo came out the with LCI version but 10 months later still nothing.

Im thinking about getting some aftermarket headlights like these, they have the same U shape daytime running lights as the M5, cost about 400€ then you can just have h7 white light bulbs or h7 leds

I found mine here, but they don't fit. The bumper under the headlight doesn't fit well.

Yours are DTMOTO with amber corners

Mine are Tuning-Tec (seems to be a brand from Poland) with clear corners

They don't have bulbs. If one burnt out, then you need to replace the entire light assembly.
