Lease takeover warranties

Hi all,

Potentially looking into taking over a lease and the guy has Ultimate Care +, Excess Wear and Tear, as well as Wheel and Tire that add $200 on his payment.

If I assume his lease am I forced to take these on? Not sure if it's in his contracted payment.

I know BMW offers prorated refunds if you don't use the warranty, maybe ask the dealership that he purchased from

Probably part of his lease financing. In that case even if you got a prorated refund the contracted monthly payment wouldn’t change.

Appreciate the responses. That's a deal killer then ugh. I figured since warranties don't transfer unless requested on leases it would fall off.

Why can't you make him pay $$ to you to make up for that crap. If his lease payment is $200 more than it should be, no one's going to want it.

He's being a stiffler. He budged $250 smh. Not to mention it's a base m4 droptop. I since closed on an X4M order
