Wipers too forceful. Like they're about to fly off?

Rain of biblical proportions today.
Auto wipers on.
Not even going too fast.

When they wipe to the right they were so forceful like they were going to come off.

Anyone else had that?
Wiper arm adjustment or something required?

mine used to slap against the beading on the right and cause sn almighty racket but dealer adjusted this under warranty and its quiet again. Reckon the carwash guys or someone may have twisted it out of alignment.

Yeh that's it. Slapping against beading. Poured water over rain sensor. That's what happens

Should be a simple job to put the wipers in 'service mode', remove the wiper arm and reattach it in the correct position.

I also had the same issue on my F34. Dealer fixed under warranty. I did try adjusting it myself but the wiper arm was stuck solid on the spindle.

You'd have to buy a wiper arm puller if it won't come off. Access (on a F34) is terrible because of shape of the plastic trim. It might be a pain finding one that will work, I gave up and sent it into the dealer.

You can have a quick check to see if measurement 'B' is within spec.

Mine was within tolerance but was on the high side.

i tried that in my end of warranty check. they simply said we replaced the wiper blades £60 thanks. When it rained the next time 2 weeks later sound was back. They tried to wriggle out saying your car is now out of warranty so ££ to look at it but after some 'explanation' did it for free. So if there is a problem please don't wait until end of warranty check.

I'm sure I remember bosch wipers being longer than valeo ones. When I swapped to valeo it stopped doing it.

I put Valeo on mine a year ago and just noticed them doing this same thing today in the pouring rain when on full speed, they are fine on any other speed though and have never screeched.
