Possibly the wrong time of year.

The scuffs would also put me off a little bit. I'd probably want to get the 2 marked wheels refurbished, which puts the price up a bit.

No TPMS and most would want the scuffs fixed before going on their car.
Also prob wrong time of year.

I think I saw someone selling TMPS for £100. The wheels are diamond cut so refurbing would cost circa £150 for the pair. I want to try and avoid putting any more money into the set to sell but thanks for the advice.

If I really struggle, I may just split the wheels/tyres as if someone is buying just wheels, there is probably less of an expectancy to get TMPS as part of the deal

If you didn't want to get the refurb done yourself you could always reduce the asking price? See if you get a bite before Christmas.

I'd be tempted but I'd want to sell my wheels first which will probably prove difficult.

I thought I had priced them reasonably fairly given that there is no TPMS, 2 wheels would benefit from a refurb and the inevitability of potential buyers trying to slash the price down.

Honestly speaking, £900 was the bottom price I had in mind.

The tyres must be worth £200-£250 and the wheels around £700? In no particular rush at the moment so I will leave them as they are for now.

Have you put them on ebay? Wanted to sell mine on here a while ago and didn't get a huge amount of traction, put on ebay and sold 2 days later for the price I wanted, local collection cash.

I also agree time of year is tricky, I sold mine end Nov, even on ebay you may find a bit more difficult now. But worth trying anyway.

You may need to be a bit more flexible on price also - I bought exactly the same set for £150 more than that in mint condition with TPMS and 6-7mm tyres.

Thanks. I've stuck them on ebay and have 6 watchers so far so they are getting some interest.

Ebay is usually a good bet to getting things sold.

If I get £900 for them, I will be happy. If they struggle, I will take your advise and drop the price after Christmas.
