Any coding required for lumbar ?

I have m sport seats without lumbar

I'm try to determine whether I could take the lumbar components and switch panel from a seat with lumbar factory fitted and whether it would just work.

Would any coding be required and would the car's loom to the seat be compatible ?

I'm thinking that without memory seats there would only need to be power to the seat adjustment electrics but knowing BMW maybe it's not so simple

Has anyone upgraded their seats and can offer any experience ?
