This is Molly, the bearded collie.

Getting on a bit, but still thinks she's a pup. Wants to play all the time.

Here's Dexter - named after the TV Series. He's a wonderful labradoodle who at 13 months has just had the chop. My heart went out for him on Friday!

My wife and daughters wanted a dog. The middle kid was the big driver of the wanting a dog, but wanted to start small. So we now have 2 lbs of baby Morkie madness named Gus to terrorize the cats.

Luther is the black one and is 7. Yogi is 5 and the more traditional Black and Tan.

Both complete softies. Now you can see what even a X3 boot is tight for them!

Not sure the price of dogs is going to dip soon. Did the school run today and everyone seems to have a new fluffy puppy.

I expect the rescue centres might be busy in a few weeks.

The breeder we got ours from doesn't have any unallocated puppies until late in 2022!

I swear it is more of a commitment than children. Not even allowed to kick my own dogs anymore.....

I hope that most will be in the camp of wanting a dog for a long time but not being practical due to work commitments but now its going to be possible with more flexibility to work patterns.

I do think that a doggy day care service will be very popular from 2022 onwards when we perhaps start to go back to more time in offices....

I do think there will be some who havent thought the commitment through properly...and then some great rescue dogs to be had....
