I'm suprised it's not done yet Noah. Would look perfect with those performance grills.

A bit hard to tell on the roof, but I also did my rear lower bumper and trunklid spoiler in gloss black vinyl as well.

Yeah, its still an 'overlay'. But least it's real CF.

Looks very nice! Did you just vinyl the shark fin or did you paint it? Do you have some close up pics of it? I heard it was pretty tough to wrap cleanly.

Thanks man!! Whole thing is vinyl and they had to take out the shark fin to vinyl over it.

Wow that looks really good to me. Anybody know a good shop in Cali (NorCal or SoCal) that they recommend for this?

I'll try to take a pix, its a bit hard to get it to come out right in photos. basically its like gloss black but with metallic bits. I've seen matte wrapped roofs, personally I dont like them because I think they come off looking cheap/unfinished/dirty (unless your whole car is matte)

here's a shot, you can see it looks glossy from a distance. i'll try to take a close up shot.

Your background shot looks like you're from Singapore, kind me asking where you got your roof wrapped and around how long you payed for this ?

Definitely do it! I dont regret it for a second.

Black roof makes the car looks lower and wider as it creates a negative space

Check out my post for example

it does look good on white cars, but it looks better on coupes or gran coupes than a sedan...i was gona do it on my alpine white f30 but decided against it because it looks cheesy, and it looks like you're trying too hard to make it something its not (panoramic).

Is this what BMW encourages now? Putting stickers on the car if they can't afford the real? DUDE... if you can't do it, don't pretend you can. Wrap gifts, not cars.

If you are in SoCal hit this guy up, his name is Chris and he does great work, he can come to you aswell. He does wraps and clear bras, I've had him do my last three cars and have zero complaints.

I did mine in satin black and I really like it a year later. I also find it useful to ID my car in a big parking lot. Give it a try.

Looks great! I've thought about getting it wrapped in a metallic black that is similar to carbon black. This would also provide protection for the paint with my thule fairing as well so it's dual purpose.

The only downside to a gloss black wrap is the damage it'll eventually take - I rewrap mine every 12-16 months because of staining and swirls (no matter how safe your wash procedure is it'll still happen).
