Can you do a VD comparison? I don't know if it will change much with MHD, since it's load based and not boost based.

Yes, i plan to do that and alot more

I will make this as thorough as possible, just figuring out when i am going to do the install and testing for each. If i have the time and energy during the week my plan is to log my current setup tonight, let the car cool, then install Dinan and reset MAF adaptations. I will then do a 50 mile roundtrip for work tomorrow and give it time to adapt, then log tomorrow night with dinan, let the car cool, install the CTS, reset MAF, 50 miles, then log after that. I think that's the best way to give them all the same adaptation period and the most similar conditions. I also just filled up so this should all be on the same tank of gas. I plan to get 3 logs of each for the VD and other analysis (WGDC, etc).

Quick update: Detailed review and analysis in progress. I followed similar approach to above but did 100 miles (at least) after each intake swap before doing logs. Interesting results already for the Dinan since my MAF readings seem completely normal and do not show the erratic behavior and low readings we have seen in basically all other logs with people running Dinan.

The CTS is installed and i drove on it a bit yesterday but 100% highway miles and haven't gotten on it at all yet. I can already tell its going to be loud though. Unfortunately i will have to get gas before logging the CTS since i am almost completely out but it will be from the same station with same Emix %.

I say the Dinan outflows them all, and the CTS intake is a small (if any) improvement over stock.

No idea why MAF readings would vary one car to another.

Almost there man. Had a really busy week that prevented me from getting logs with CTS, but i am planning to do them on the way home today since i am driving the exact same round trip drive as i did with the Dinan today. My writeup is already 4000 words and i still need to add the discussion about CTS data results once i finish those logs and get them in excel. Several plots of WGDC, IATs, STFTs, etc with 3 4th gear pulls on each setup.

I also did one 1-4 gear pull on each, but my focus is on the 4th gear pulls. Here's two teaser plots. The 1-4 has the CTS log include (was able to get that this morning), while the 4th gear STFTs plot doesnt have CTS (need to do those logs tonight).

interesting ... so if im reading this right, the Dinan is causing fuel to be pulled .. meaning that its running richer than the mppk bottom against the learned trims....

which means it is getting less airflow....

I don't think its quite that simple because all the other data is showing the Dinan is flowing the same air and making the same power. The other strange thing is that LTFTs are positive on the Dinan and negative on the OEM MPPK setup. Getting a bit ahead of ourselves though as the full analysis is coming to paint a more clear picture (aiming for later tonight).

https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1765289

I decided to start a new thread since i am doing a lot more than CTS. But for the sake of this thread, heres my CTS logs:

1-4 CTS log: https://datazap.me/u/thejeremyman9/1...38-39-40-41-42

3x 4th gear CTS logs: https://datazap.me/u/thejeremyman9/3...&data=4-5-7-21

Highly recommend reading the thread linked above for the full story.
