Hi guys has anyone had their display go completely off on the climate control? all was working perfect earlier today but last time out an hour ago noticed the display is completely dead, the ac light works and auto light does too and the temp changes fine but the screen is blank, just a faint glow...

I’ve locked the car for a bit and hoping it just needs a reboot like the idrive did once and i left it an hour or 2 and it all came back to life.

Hoping its just a glitch and not another dealer visit!

Yeah mine goes blank when I turn off the AC and comes on when I hit the auto button

Mine turns off if you turn the fan down to zero. Which is what you'd want really.

I have a similar Problem,
My screen is usually dead when i start the car on a morning, the blower is blowing at the last setting and i cant change/ or turn it off by pressing the buttons.
It usually starts working after 30 min or if i press really hard on the panel above the radio.
No sure what the problem is here.

If you know anyone with ISTA+ they could find the problem, sounds like a faulty unit or damaged wiring

This is the only post I am able to find with a similiar problem.. My f34 has randomly started upon turning the car on the display of the climate control unit just turns off.. (buttons dont turn it back on or do anyhthing), to fix it I turn my car off and on again and it works well. Is this a problem with the unit itself, anyone?
