Hi all,

I'm still very new to BMW and the wonderful world of coding so bear with.

I'm the new owner of a 330e with Nav Pro/iDrive 5.0. Does not have enhanced bluetooth, but I've successfully managed to code most of the associated features with it using Bimmercode. As in BT audio, dual phone, office, caller thumbnail etc.

Now, I've also just realized that there are a number of apps on my phone like TuneIn and Spotify that I can 'connect' and play via cable connected to USB.

My first observation is that connection between phone and systems is slow and glitchy. As in I can't yet seem to decipher a series of steps that make the whole process predicable. It seems to work sometimes and sometimes not. Any of the vids online that demonstrate this are from older iDrive versions. I do find myself wondering if a: this is just the way it is, b: it's an Apple version thing or c: in coding enhanced BT, i've messing something up.

So, my question is for those of you who've either successfully coded this or have enhanced bluetooth with iDrive 5 is should or does this app connect feature work via BT? And if so and you managed to code it, what was the setting to do so.

So, all input will be most appreciated from a newbie and even if my BT question eludes you, thoughts on the wired connection side of things would be great too...
