Android 4.3 fixed my missing bluetooth track titles
So I noticed this morning that Spotify now correctly streams music via bluetooth WITH track artist/titles. Previous to Android 4.3 on my Nexus 4, I was only able to stream via bluetooth, but none of the track information showed up.
This is awesome! See screenshot.

That is awesome. I've been battling with bluetooth connectivity. I finally got my texts to show up and phone book, but I can't dial a number from the phone book. It just goes to the add a phone screen instead. Does your nexus show up as a registered phone in the list?

I'm not sure if it'd be the same on your phone. I have an S3 and I got it to work by cancelling part of the bluetooth running services. Can't remember exactly what the name was but I found the info on an audi site. It worked. Got my phone to sync and I can do everything but dial from my phonebook. Spotify was working before, but doesn't show track info.

I'm thinking its only for iPhone 5 because they seem partial to iPhone... hence the BMW app only being on the apple app store

lol they would be on point again if they would just integrate some damn widgets... but perhaps android has a patent on it. I'm not techno savvy anymore :/

Companies support apple because they are easy to support. Being that Apple is the only company making products with Apple Os, they don't have any problems with figuring thousands of added applications or UI.
If Android wasn't so open platform then it would be just as integrated as Apple, but way less manipulated. |
