Winter Tire/Wheel setup advice

I'm trying to figure out what would be the best way to go for a second set of tires/wheels/TPMS for winter. Probably some Blizzaks.

I have a 2017 RWD 340i currently with 225/40-19 (8JX19 ET36) on the front and 255/35-19 (8,5JX19 ET47) on the back. Style 442 and M-Sport brakes.

I can't decide if 18 inch wheels might be better or just stick with 19. I assume 18 will fit? With the adaptive suspension, the ride is not too harsh on 19s, although a little more rubber might be nice for winter. The other question is, is there any reason to stay staggered or can I just put 225/40-19 front and back?

Looking for some advice.

Yep, this is right. 18" will fit sport brakes if they are chosen for your model and you should go square so that you can rotate the tires each season.

You will love them in icy, snowy or slick conditions.

Winter tires, and driving recommend a square set up. You cannot go any smaller than 18s with the brakes on your car.

BMW 18" 400M Style wheels with tires offering a taller sidewall would be ideal for a winter wheels / tires set. No fitment concerns with M Sport brakes.

I have a staggered set of these for sale in the classifieds right now. I would split the set and sell you the front two if you were interested.

I also have 340i with adaptive suspension and I have the same size of tires for the summer:
- front: 8,5Jx19 ET 37 225x40 R19
- back: 9,5Jx19 Et40 255x35 R19
I have 18" for the winter, all 4 the same:
8Jx18 ET34 225x45 R18
You can also set up (less secure): 225x45 R18 / 255x40 R18

My set of winter / summer wheels:
