Placed an order for 335xi M Sport
Had many doubts before finally placing the order (will I get used to the odd-looking front end, will I regret not getting a more spacious car etc..) the decision was mostly between a 335, 535d (used) and X6 40d (used). Decided to get the F30, because I'm still a young guy and can get the more luxurious car in an older age. The F30 is a totally new model and is "fresh" + of course it's the best driver's car out of the three. I hope I won't regret it!
Main information: Alpine white + dakota black leather, M Sport package with 19" wheels, sunroof, H&K sound, Adaptive M suspension, parking sensors&camera, HUD, steptronic gearbox, heated seats and steering wheel, shades on the back windows etc. |

To be honest with you I do slightly regret the purchase of my 2013 328i xdrive. You definitely made right choice by going with 335.
Don't get me wrong it is a great car but I really wish I have gone with the 335 instead of 328. My other car is 2012 BMW X5 with the 3.5 engine and it does feel and sound amazing... F30 definitely misses in the sound an power department - unless it's all in my head since I never owned a 4 cilinder car before. Oh well, 2 years and 11 months left on this lease |

I am just getting ready to order an F30 (I am an Audi convert who drives a crappy Mercedes) and I am very used to a 1.8/2.0T engine... I was amazed at the 328 power over the stock A4 though I haven't driven a 335 yet... I don't want to be in the same boat wanting for more power after getting a 328.
That being said, I have read that chipping the 328 will give you similar power... is this true? |
