Best 1st tune for a F30 330i B48 Engine

Hello everyone
Im trying to decide what should be the first thing to improve in my car, should i go first with a stage 1 BM3 tune or get the xHP license to tune my TCU?
And right after that in terms of hardware what should be next? in between downpipe, Charge pipe, Air intake anything else i might have miss?

i am in the same boat. i plan on doing the mg flasher & xhp tune. before i do that i'm ordering the ftp charge pipe + intake pipe combo and the mst cold air intake. i am also considering the vrsf intercooler upgrade.

does anyone know if i get the ftp intake pipe and the mst cold air intake, will i still need the ftp small intake pipe?

bootmod3 is the best start

B46 dont need a charge pipe or intercooler upgrade

if you want to add sound and power, get a downpipe and intake next

thanks for the info! from what i've read/watched it was recommended to upgrade the charge pipe and inlet pipe prior to tuning. but it could have been for the n20 and not b48 since i am usually reading/watching f30 content that isn't always specific to the b48.

so the stock b48 should be good as is for the bm3 and xhp tune? thanks again!

its never a bad idea to upgrade the charge pipe, but its not as mandatory to do it on the B48 like it was on the N20.

i would still do it either way, but its optional

stage 2 requires high flow catted or catless downpipe

For Multimap Stage 2 - High flow downpipe
For Stage 2 93 Octane (Agg) - Full Exhaust

oh, yup. they do need that for stage 2, as you and eleven11 mentioned already. i thought it would be worth noting if they ever want to go to stage 2 (after they get a downpipe) that it's possible with 91 octane.

not to hijack this thread, but... i want to get an exhaust and i don't want anything loud. i'm leaning towards the m-performance, but i'm also considering the awe for the 330i. any thoughts or suggestions?
