BMW's touch up paint is very difficult to work with - like molasses. Everyone seems to prefer Dr Colorchip - http://www.drcolorchip.com/. Follow their directions to the letter and you'll get a perfect result. They also have the color codes.

Is it really that easy? Put a blob of paint on the chip with a brush. Smear with thumb. And then use the sealing solution an wipe the excess off? I heard people had to sand it to make it flush with original paint Last edited by Dan_335i; 06-03-2014 at 09:38 AM.. |

I have been using Dr Color Chip for years and have had great success. I have not experienced an issue with the paint not matching. However, with light scratches I use this product. The company is local to me and I can tell you that there is nothing like it for removing minor scratches. Even removes spidering from micro scratches when used correctly.
