Subaru Impreza.
When I had my GTI-6 I came up behind one stuck behind another car. Had no idea what it was thought when we got to a straight I would overtake, but the car in front it turned off and it disappeared into the distance! After that I had to have one - mental car that was, the performance and road holding was a supercar slayer back in them days (1999 ish), 911's couldn't keep up! |

The first car that blew me away as a kid was my dads Jensen Interceptor - even the name was cool!!!!!!!!!! God how I loved being driven to school
my Peugeot 205 GTI was my first performance car and it seemed way faster than anything I had owned before My first BMW was a 2005 e90 320d but when I got my e90 330d it felt like a racing car in comparison to a tractor and that 6 cylinder was so smooth

As a passenger doing a ton in a triumph spitfire down A1 - I think that would have been its maximum speed with no head wind lol.
Driving would be a rally prepped Mini Cooper with twin webers (if I remember right), full harness. I had not long passed my test and the charge hand at garage I used to work at took me out in it, then let me drive it around an old industry site. |

I have been privileged to have been in some amazing motors but the cobra is one car I would love a ride in - it is one of the only American sports cars that really gets my interest (OK - before you flame me I know the AC was a British car but it was Mr Shelby who was crazy enough to shoehorn in a thumping V8!!!)

Something about it just ticks the boxes. Admittedly I prefer the Viper, yes I know it does not compare on handling lol. However driven a few across the pond and they just do it for me lol. |

For me it was the early to mid 90's and a pal of mine had imported from Japan a car not many in the UK had heard of at the time.
It was a GTR33 in midnight purple. I was utterly gobsmacked at what it was capable of. At the time it was a very fast thing of beauty. By todays standards a standard JDM one will not feel fast, but back then it was something that would utterly smoke supposed far more expensive "superior" machinery. |

Simple one for me.
For a car I was passenger in first was back in 1993 when I was up at Silverstone Classic for work. One of my clients offered to give me a lift back to London as lived down the road. I kindly accepted his offer, not really thinking about it. Came round corner to find an F40. It was a drive home I will never ever forget. Indeed the only thing that has probably surpassed that was when we supplied all the on-board cameras for the show at Autosport Show. I got taken around the course by Stig Blomquist in an Ur Quattro and Ari Vatanen in a 206 T16. Was truly jaw dropping. We never made a huge amount from the in-car business (sold it a few years ago) but it was fun!
