Best Polish and Wax for Mineral Gray

Greetings: (sorry, the color I mentioned in the thread title is incorrect)

I just bought my new 435i convertible Glacier Gray Metallic and would like to know what could be the best polish and wax for my car??

Anybody?

No. By hand. I don't trust myself with the orbital polisher.

for a wax you can clean the paint with Auto Finesse Rejuventor Pre Wax - and Auto Finesse Illusion

The Auto Finesse pre-wax may be a good first step, but also look at a sealant such as Sonax Net Shield. Easy to apply and long lasting.

Agreed, i've been using Sonax Net Shield for awhile now and it offers really good and long lasting protection.

The Sonax Net Shield is the last step for me (after wash, clay, and wax). Apply and then buff out.

I second the Sonax PNS! Its the next best thing other than one of the coatings and will last much longer than any wax. The beading is insane!

Not sure my comments will be relevant since I have a mineral grey

I use sonus swirl remover when needed, Klasse polish & protectant, and P21S Carnauba wax... which is just beautiful to work by hand. Here's some snaps of the results:

Thanks! Yep, always by hand. The p21s wax is what gives the shine depth.

You should be able to pick it up from amazon or autopia.com

Don't fear the orbital!!! I bought a proter cable 5 years ago and love it. Very easy to use and great results! So many great videos online to teach you how to use them plus all the how to information on detailing websites.

+1

Porter cable. Be patient and watch a lot of youtube to see how it's done.

As for wax, consider Cquartz or Opticoat. They are not waxes and will last 3 to 5 years depending on formulation

I may start to sound like a shill for these people, but Collinite 845 is a great wax.
