Looking for opinions on rim color selection.

What's up F30 Forum! I am in the market to purchase some rims for my Alpine white 2013 BMW 328i F30 Sedan.

I'm currently torn between Bronze and Black rims. I feel like everyone has black rims on this car. Was really digging the Bronze look on the white. What's the general opinion on this.

What do you think will look best??????

I personally think white and bronze is the worst possible color combination.

I also have an AW F30 and was looking at bronze rims. I had bronze wheels on my Monaco Blue E92 and I loved them. I'm talking about the darker bronze, not the lighter ones that almost look gold.
Black wheels on a white car is overplayed IMO.

If it is a statement you are trying to make, be sure the one you make is the one you would like to be known by. Are you saying "Look at me I'm a showoff teen", "Look at me I'm a gangster", "Look at me I'm am an adult", "Look at me I'm a ... (fill in the blank)"? It is your car, so you can make any statement you like.

i like black however if it is "too black" you cannot see it's wheel spoke/face definition and it just appears to be black space from afar. also you'll have to keep your tires clean and "black" as well because dust/dirt/blooming cause the tires to appear brown against especially against pure black.

black chrome would have more definition

not too many people with dark bronze so i chose it in the poll.

personally i like gunmetal/anthracite as it hides brake dust and can match any color car. regardless of the color, the face/spoke design is very important as well.

I think it really depends on the type of wheels you get. If they have thick spokes go black. If they're thin, go bronze as it won't be as overwhelming.

Personally, I've always prefered keeping my vehicles as close to stock as possible, especially in the rim department. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but for the most part I'd stick with an OEM rim, in the available OEM colour.

The orbit grey that come on the new f30 with track handling package are very close to the mineral grey color. Im sure they will be for sale soon as some people ditch the stock wheels eventually. I bet you could find a set on here soon. I think the color would look great on white.

Chosing wheel design and color is probably one of the hardest thing to do.

I have a AW 428i GC, current I decided on Y spoke design... now the color. Most wheels out there comes in 2 color mostly silver and gun metal. The wheels I'm looking at comes in silver and gloss black. I might go with gloss black. I'm to the point my OEM RFT is gone, so I need to make decision fast but I don't want to spend ton of money on wheels like I did back in the days. I didn't like my first choice, I end up selling the rims on a lost then buying few 2 more set.

I got one month, unless i found a gun metal gray soon at reasonable price. I'm not in a habit of throwing anymore, not like the old days... I learned my lesso.

I used to think that fuzzy dice were the ultimate way to cheapen a car. Then the black rims craze started. They are hideous. Any color other than black, IMHO.
