Deactive headlight washers?

I'm tired of these things and have no use for them.

Ways that might work:
(1) unplug pump
(2) depin connector at FEM
(3) code off?

If I cut the power to the pump will the computer get mad?
Is it possible to code this feature off?

Other options will probably throw a CEL.

They do indeed.

Honestly I dont see a need for them unless you live in areas where they De-ice roads. I have found them quite useful when the roadsalt and muck starts building up on the lens.

The reason for them with HIDs is that even dusty lenses can cause dazzle at oncoming cars. It's a legal requirement to have them in Europe, and BMW put them on to conform with that, otherwise they could not use HIDs. It's not DOT required in the US, but the DOT isn't exactly up to date where lighting is concerned.
