Hi,
I've searched the forum but I cannot find the correct forum for this info if it has already been answered: I have seen somebody having a race circuit directly on the CNT/NBT instead of having external racechrono or similar apps.

Any ideas of how this has been done?

Probably an android or ios app with screen mirroring. You'd need Android/apple auto in your car

The Mlaptimer app, which runs on any BMW with BMW apps will show your laps on the NBT. You have to install the app on your iphone, connect it to the car via USB and then start the app on the iDrive. Here is the link for the app:
