My exhaust had the same issue. I believe a replacement of that electric motor is $240!

$240?! Forget it; I would rather just leave it alone, and when I get an aftermarket exhaust that issue will be gone. Not paying $240 just to make a rattle sound in the exhaust go away, screw that.

If the motor itself is out, replacements run about $130 online.

120k on my 2014 328 when I sold it. Now at 20k in my 2015 335. Always ran excellent.

I'm loving the posts on this thread. I bought a 2014 F30 new and I've had it 5 years now with zero problems of any kind. Just passed 60k miles. With m-sport, go flat tires, DHP, and Dinan Shockware this car is awesome.

I drive it sanely and keep it in the garage and properly maintained so it still looks brand new.

All the comments about how the F30 is not as good as the e90 and how BMW has lost its way and how the steering is numb, etc. etc. are lost on me. My car with go flat tires is perfect for me.

Just ordered a G05 for my wife and I'm sure I'll drive that when we go places together. But for myself, I'll keep this F30 till the wheels fall off.
