G20 Real Availability

Would like to pull the trigger on a new G20 when my lease runs out at the end of July 2019. Supposedly going on sale in March, so I was wondering if I should order, or will I be able to get one in stock.

I know y'all can't predict the future, but I thought I get this group's opinion.

This. Availability will not be an issue - any dealer will get allocations according to their size (the bigger and well known dealerships will get more). The only issue is if you're able to get one spec'd to your liking. Usually if there are no pre-orders/early deposits, dealerships will usually build cars with specs that will appeal to the general public (white, black exterior, black, red interior, etc.).

So if you're absolutely sure you want a G20, I would speak to your preferred dealer so when allocations do become available - they can amend or use one of their allocations to build the car to your specs.

Obviously, you cannot preorder until the ordering guide is published and released.

I suggest to order the vehicle if having a precise mix of options and colors is of outmost importance. The first in-stock vehicles will be tailored to the middle of the road buying audience.

Bmw will let you extend your lease 3-6 months with a car on order. So take your time and get the g20 you want.

They also prorate it when you extend.... meaning you only pay for as long as you actually keep the car. So lease ends the day the new one comes in.
