Love the CH-R. Is that 20x8 +36 front and 20x9 +44 rear?

Seems like that's the only fitment for these cars unless I'm mistaken. I'd love to pull the trigger on that setup, but can't really justify spending that much on wheels which are barely wider than stock. :/

It is unfortunate but BBS is not as popular in this forum as other brands.
I personally think BBS wheels are sick

I'll be getting a set of BBS LMs or LM-Rs for my F32 when I pick it up later this week!

I assume this is also Presario's car that I found too:

I hate to be that guy Presario, but what specs are you running on your LMs?

EDIT: Are they the 20x8.5 +32 and 20x9.5 +37 with 225/35/20 and 255/30/20 setup?

Here's an F32 I found photoshopped on 20" BBS LMs!

Yes, those are the wheels specs he as but the tire specs are 235/35R20 and 265/30R20 in those pics I believe.

You could also do 20x10" ET45 with a 275/30R20 in the rear.

Absolutely love your car. I used to live in Toronto, and your F31 would be a perfect family car. Too bad they didn't come in a 335 though!

Hmm, I can get a set of 20x8.5/20x9.5 for a good price off Yahoo Auctions in Japan.

The 20x10s I'll have to hunt for and see what I can find!

At the same time, because of all the aforementioned things, they are much slower at bringing new products and designs to market. As a result, their designs are oftentimes considered classics, which is not necessarily a bad thing. With the explosion of new wheel manufacturers out there, BBS wheels may not be as popular as they once were, but will always remain the gold standard in my eyes.

As for weight, 2 piece forged wheels are usually heavier because of the extra hardware needed to assemble the wheels. It's the same for all the forged wheel manufacturers out there. And a lot of times, they share the same forged face so some wheels have more pad (metal) on the back so that they can accommodate certain offsets and brake kits.

If you want the lightest and strongest wheels out there, get 1 piece forged wheels. But I'm a huge sucker for wheels with lips so I need multi-piece construction. I'm very happy with my 20 BBS LM setup. And they're lighter than my stock 19" 403M wheels by a few pounds so I'm very happy.

Hi, my friend is giving me 20x9.5 front and 20x10.5 rear. do you think it would fit? he is not sure the offset, but he said between 20-30.

You need to know the offset exactly, those sizes will be a tight fit....they're a little wider than most people go with

BBS is the premier wheel manufacturer in the world. There was a time when people who modded BMWs actually cared about what they put on their cars and a certain level of prestige was sought after. Now, these low-budget replica or Miami boutique wheels are all you see (specifically two or three styles, too) from names which have barely been around longer than the F30. What gets me is all the new fancy names they come up every week for a new style of "forged" wheel to fool more people...I think UltraHyperDiamondForged is next on the list. But, hey...perhaps I'm an old timer. I miss the days when every E36 was on BBS RCs, and E46 M3 owners were shunned for having anything less than BBS LMs.

One contributor however is the limited sizes and fitments BBS offers, even for their higher-end. If they made more fitments for these cars, I'm sure we'd see more...but that's certainly not an excuse to go from the creme of the crop to the bottom of the barrel.
I heard Rota wheels is a subdivision of BBC.

The wheels are exactly the same (made to the same spec) but just with a different brand/logo on it.

They're knockoffs/imitations. Not the same wheels by a long shot

Not that I support these over night wheel companies making generic styles, but there are cheaper alternatives that over the same quality and are actually light.

You can get a set of Volks which are forged for half the cost of a set of F1's. BBS is smoking crack on some of their wheel prices.

Work Brombachers > LM's :P
Companies like Brixton are over priced. I wanted one of their 3 piece wheels sets and it was almost $6500.00 because "they are forged" which just means they machine them on a CNC. I know, I have a degree in the field and it doesn't cost that much to make wheels. It's ludicrous. I would love a nice se of BBS on my car. I fancy the CHR or FIR

I had been pretty dead set on BBS CH-Rs in 19" next summer, but as was discussed earlier in this thread I'm realizing there aren't that many fitment options. I'm also pretty set on getting a square setup for handling purposes, and as of now I haven't really found a 19" square CH-R setup in the BMW bolt pattern. Too bad as I was excited to bring some more BBS love to the board.

i found the offset, the front is 30 and rear 35.
i already picked them up, i think i would need 5mm or 10mm spacer for the fronts
let me know your thoughts, thanks!

Back on topic. I tried several lesser brands with my E46 and bent several wheels on each set. Nothing I have tried has been as strong as factory or BBS. I know there are others that are good, but I am overly cautious at this point as I have been burned so many times. I kept my E82 and my E60 on stock M-sport wheels, and I think my F30 will either get BMW or BBS wheels only. I'm going to stick with 18s too in an effort to prevent damage, as I am done replacing wheels every year or two. I can't stand any vibration in the steering wheel.
