i would ask you, if you can take some pictures for the cable wiring for the new switch, and evaluate how much is it complex/straight forward

Anyone had the comfort access done by this chap at all?

Wouldn't mind getting it done on my tourer when it arrives as I didn't spec it.

Any idea how much or if it includes the boot kick release in a retro fit?

Yes he does this and it includes the boot release if required

Depends on the cost of the parts and whether or not he can get them secondhand. I've sent you his number so give him a ring tomorrow

By the way, why do people persist to call these wing mirrors?
Mine are attached to the door last time I looked and hence are called door mirrors.

Lol, a BMW tech friend called me out for that the other day..I'm only 37 too so probably didn't have wing mirrors in my day!
