Does the platinum warranty cover the turbo?

I'm looking over the extended warranty and I was wondering if the "Turbocharger assemblies" it lists includes the actual turbo or not.

I have a 430i converible...

Yes, turbo issues are covered with platinum warranty.

You might also want to check this and DL a PDF related to your Model and year. If you have an SULEV PZEV, and depending on the State, your turbo is covered under the emissions warranty for up to 150k miles.

Thanks, I'm in California and it looks like its 7 years/70k miles for the turbo

My turbo failed at 54k had it replaced by bmw for free.
