$200 eBay FTP Charge Pipe
So because I am going for a tune, downpipe, and intake there was no way I could avoid getting a charge pipe as well. I have heard many stories of the pipe blowing off/cracking leaving the tuning shop or shortly after installing ANY decent tune. Because I have xDrive, the only options were the $375 ER CP or the $270 FTP CP. I decided on the FTP after hearing personal results from a friend but ended up getting it a little sketchy. I found it on eBay for $200 instead of $270, and since FTP ships from Taiwan anyways, I thought I'd give it a go. Once the item arrives, I'll update with pics, and with install notes once I have it on. Just wanted people to be aware of NEW charge pipes for $200, and whether they are any good, we will find out soon.

It looks like FTP has a CP/TIC combo for the x-drive for $350 on their site. If the FTP parts are decent I may consider going this route. Any updates on quality?

Still have not received the item as I only paid for it 2 days ago. Coming from Tawain so I will probably be seeing it in a week or two. I'll post pics then!

A friend of mine bought their CP as well for his X3 35i (xdrive) and he said no issues.
He slapped on DP, FMIC and Meth now

Appreciate everyone's feedback on this! Just to clarify though, this was not a question of whether FTP made a good charge pipe or not. This was more of the sketchy ebay buying process from a foreign vendor, and to see how it works out! Again, I will update once the package comes in, item was listed as shipped today from Taiwan on the eBay page.

Update on the delivery. It came today, which is crazy considering I paid on the 17th and it was coming from Taiwan! BUT...it came like this so I'm not sure how happy I am with the delivery. Parts should be fine but I will be doing an unboxing either this weekend or the next to confirm nothing is damaged, and to inspect quality of the product.

Not to thread jack but I just had the FTP hard pipe combo installed a couple weeks ago. I took plenty of pics so if anyone wants to see fore and aft just let me know

The FTP charge pipe says it's for xDrive but nothing distinguishing if they're for 6mt or auto. When ordering an ER cp, you need to specify. I'd like to order the FTP, but only if it will guarantee to fit my 6mt awd. Can anyone confirm?

Call ER and ask them about the shape. I called for them to confirm that the xDrive pipe is a different shape from the regular, but never asked about the manual or auto. I'm sure they'd be happy to help you, and you'd get a definitive answer in about 10 min

Fair enough. Just wondering if anyone who's ordered this and successfully installed it on a 6mt xDrive. That's really the only way to guarantee fitment! I'll contact them and see what they say anyway.

Only difference between 6MT and auto is a vacuum line on the top half of the charge pipe. If you have 6MT, you just have to put a rubber plug and clamp over it. From the pics, it actually looks like this CP comes with that rubber cover. This is similar to the rubber plug needed on the BMS intake for 6MT cars. For reference: I have a ER CP that is for RWD auto, and I'm 6MT.
