Bm3 no burbles help
I have a BMW 320i n20 2016 and I'm running vrsf catless, no resonators, and a performance muffler. Tuned with stage 1 91 octane. I do not seem to get any burbles in drive, but when my car is in park/neutral, it works perfectly. I have tried to even bring my aggression to 10 and it still does not work in drive. I've contacted bootmod3, and they have told me to re-download my map and not modify it, but I ended up with the same results as before. I really want to hear the burbles in drive, any help would be great, thank you!

Tuning my 320i to Stage 1 was worth it 100%, you feel a big difference with the tune, and overall makes the car more fun to drive. I would also recommend getting a upgraded charge pipe to be safe. I ordered one from VRSF which should be coming soon. Also take a look at air intakes for your car, also makes the ride much more fun, I'm using one by injen.

I had the same issue before recently. Flash it back to stage 1 and leave the burbles up to the tune without modifying them leaving it to "OTS" in your settings. Also the car has to be warmed up, and have some boost built to get burbles in my experience.

Hey thank you for the reply, I gave that a try today, and also tried 93 octane, did not seem to work either. I'm wondering if it could be my muffler, i have a magnaflo performance muffler. But its a performance muffler that rests on the larger side. But i'm not sure if this is possible because you should be able to hear burbles with a stock muffler if you have a burble tune and downpipe.

Active sound design must be enabled. Burbles gotta be turned on within your burble settings. Car gotta be in sport+, warmed up for a few mins or else the car is unwilling to dump the extra fuel.

Drove over 100 still nothing. I have ASD enabled because PTF told me it has to be enabled for burbles, and on BM3 it says it on there as well. I get burbles in park but not while driving. However, i do have a cheap downpipe. Am buying ER downpipe, will update if anything changes.

I have switched my tune to 93 octane stage 1, catless downpipe, straight pipe all the way to performance muffler, aggression all the way to max, enabled sound, played with all other settings, and none of that has changed a thing. Not even the smallest burble in drive. I feel like the only fix is a custom tune, unless we are all missing something, but I have tried everything. If anyone else has any ideas please tell me.

I have had to reflash before to get burbles. Also, you should have your exhaust valves forced to open. Try shifting with paddles too, bring it up to 5k fast in manual mode and then let off.
Something definitely weird happens at times w bm3 and burbles but I am always able to get it sorted. |

Found some what of a solution, when I put my car in manual I get all the pops I'm supposed to. Still does not work in drive, but I'm happy putting my car in manual to get crazy down shift pops and bangs. Anyone else with the same issue try manual, hope it works!

I’m having similar issue. Did I reflash making it more aggressive and still next to nothing except in really low rpm and next to no noise. I can really only tell cause it’s in a parking garage when I do hear it. I’m pretty sure the 320i doesn’t have ASD and through Bimmercode I did add the sport+ mode but can’t access it either. Not sure if that had something to do with since you can adjust burbles for comfort and sport modes.
