That is an absolute bargain, if only those prices were available down south

Mine was £320, though didn't include a dyno.

Just had a quote back from Celtic at £295. That's for a mobile remap so no dyno but the testimonials for the 330d on their website seem genuine and there are 3 positive ones. Still a decent price nowadays.

D-Day.
This should give you something to compare against.
I didn't get the same total output as B16JSY, but it's very low down. Don't forget that my 330D is a pre-facelift.

I do feel a bit silly though as it turned out that mine had an old map already uploaded

In short no. I'm not sure if that's how it works as that may mean having standard car maps to hand.

Muffking - 11bhp and 21Nm are marginal gains. Once you were told that engine was already mapped did you not consider just leaving it as-was ?

The torque curve is much flatter now, which should translate well in terms of the road performance.

I think he was expecting 320+ bhp ... but it fell slightly short up top. Still the car made decent torque at least as you say.

Yes as the old phrase goes, "BHP wins arguments, but Torque wins races".

In truth I always thought that the car was quick, but it's my first 330D, so I just thought that's how they were
However, it is noticeably quicker off the line now and rattles through the auto box like there is no end to the number of gears that it has

Unfortunately I wasn't told until I came back and the work had been done. Otherwise I would have been happy to have just paid the £75 rolling road charge. Don't get me wrong, there is an improvement, but if I was given the choice then I would have opted for just the rolling road session. My saving grace is that it was only £245 and he did spend the best part of 3 hours fine tuning it.

Just add, he does also remove the 155mph limiter, raise the rpm limit and adjust the sports dials to match the increased power & torque.

Nice smooth graph from what I can see, good to know they seem to be consistent at what they do.
Thanks for the update.

Yes .. looking at that graph it now has roughly 100nm more torque than before at 1800rpm.. you will notice that
