Engine light on, no faults showing

Guys I’ve just noticed my EML light is on at the moment but when I check the faults in the idrive it’s not showing any faults. Car seems to be driving normally, does anyone know what the issue would be?

You need to get the codes read. Either find someone with an OBD scanner or it will be a trip to the dealer. This could be so many things its pointless speculating

Do you have an obd adapter you use for BimmerCode or similar?
If so, then there's two free apps that can use it & they provide very good fault diagnostics. They're Four Stroke & Car Scanner.

Diagnostics have confirmed it’s a faulty MAP sensor.

How much are these?
