Let's see your Window Tint Job on your F3X!
Show some pics of your tint job, far and close up, especially of the black dots around the windows. List the Percentage Tint and kind.
How was your experience? Are you pleased with the Job? And how long do air bubbles take to disappear?

How do you like it? And how is the Tint job? Did the tint Seat all the way around the edge of the side glasses where the black dots are? Mine is showing a lot of air bubbles around that area, but giving it a few more weeks to see if the heat will do anything? One thing that I for got to do was to Tint the back a shad lighter than the front, because I have heat glazing in the back already, so the 10% tint I put on the back windows is probably really a 3% or so.......LOL.

aroudn the bumps on the outer edge of the window the tint may never really adhere all the way in between the dots. There will likely be air pockets. They can be minimized by taking a credit card and a soft paper towel or micro fiber rag and folding it over th ecard then using the edge push against the glass in the affected area and only rub toward the edge not away from the edge. You will see some go away and some reamin. After a couple times of this you will see a reduction of bublles there but they will never go away completely. It is just the nature of the tint

You can see a few air bubbles around the outside where the dots are, but they are going away slowly. I have a lifetime warrenty and the tint guys said those bubbles should go away soon. He said if they are still there after a couple months he'd re-do the job. You can only see it if you look really close though, doesn't bother me. |

#328d Unbadged Tinted W/sunscreens
My first post. Before and after (for the moment). Impulse purchase, fully loaded Estoril blue 328D, tan leather, burlwood, M performance and all other packages. Went from 37K to 52K pretty quick. Dealer tint. Bought the BMW rear fixed sunshades and they blacked the back out like a MOFO. Downsized from a Tahoe. Thought I needed 4-doors, but as I look more, should have bought an M6. This is my daily driver. Also own a Premiere Edition C7 Stingray.

around 25% light blockage, not sure if that makes a 25% or 75%.. I do find the tint will not lay perfectly on top of those dot matrix thing around the edges of windows. I also see rear windows defroster glare at night.

That price is unbelievable! I would jump on that.
I have 20% using a local film called FlexFilm in there PanaFlex series which is a ceramic tint. Was skeptical at first using this brand but it gets a lot of good reviews and significantly reduces heat as should any ceramic film. Been on the car for a year now. I regret a little on going so dark. If I could do it again I would do 35%. I thought of the light interior so I went the the 20%. During the day it is a good % but at night it can be a little dark, sometimes I will have to roll my windows down to maneuver. Everyone talks about bubbles and how they are normal and will eventual disappear. I've never had bubbles when leaving a tinter in the dozen of cars I have had tinted. Fogging i have had but this goes away in 48 hours. I paid $275 for five windows |

Mine's with V-KOOL VIP 60% for all sides and back. As for the front, V-KOOL CLEAR 70. Installation Was very neat. Very professional. Very well trained installer handled my car. No bubble whatsoever. There were few visible lines after the first installed and this is totally normal and will go away in a couple of months. I paid 600 bucks for all around. Here's some pics of my car....
