I'm still loving my 2014 F30 328i. I've done some CF visual mods: Front lip, side lower lips, rear valance and wing. Brought some 20 wheels from 7 series 245 front and 275 rear (Thanks Stu) and lowered on H&R springs. I've fitted f30 335i front and rear calipers and disks. I've also installed aftermarket turbo pipe and charge pipe along with the Wagner copy FMIC and Injen CAI. At the moment i'm running OTS stage 1 BM3 and plan to install the Catless DP in the next week or so. Oh and I also done some ECU mods like: 5 blink intermittent indicator instead of 3, under handle LED's light up in reverse, changing the startup logo etc

The only things I really hate on my F30 is the AC should default (IMO) to single zone rather then dual and not having automatic wipers switch that stays on, instead of having to turn it on every time.

Nah when im driving it squeeks and creeks. I dont know if the mirror noise is coming through the tweeter grille or its the speaker itself. Going to take the door card off on the weekend and investigate

Oh I see. That could be the rubber seals. Known problem in the first few years of production? I think silicone tape was the fix?

On my driver side door, the part near where your feet go in and out has worn out a number of times. I've had the seal changed twice under warranty.

hahah judging by my own experience, if you haven't gone through 2 by 60K km, you're doing well

might just be the way I'm getting in and out. The current one is holding up ok.

Screeching sound from brakes

Anyone with the msport blue brakes experiencing a piercing screeching sound when feathering your brakes? I hear it occasionally from my rear wheels, especially when cold.. Done only 20k so it shouldnt be the worn brake pads. Had 2 service centres looked at the issue (Alexandria and Chatswood) and unlucky for me, both didn't find anything unusual during their test drive.

Was driving around Megalong Valley area the other day and had to do an emergency slow down/stop as I didn't want the front lip to scoop up a bit of road kill. As people know the m-performance lip sits quite low and I wasn't sure if it would clear.

Anyway, after coming to a near halt from 100km/h or so the hazard lights came on automatically. I thought that's a clever little feature.

Really impressed with the tech on the F series after having an E9x. Interesting to see what the G brings but don't think we will be upgrading for a long time.
