Hi Chuck

I'm running Stage 1 at the moment. Have been for a number of months and it's great compared to the JB Stage 1 I had before. Significantly smoother power delivery but if you talk raw power, the JB was probably higher.

Currently researching FMIC, Downpipe and Chargepipes and will run stage 2 after that.

Will start with DP/CP and check the IATs to determine if I will buy an FMIC too or not.

Good to know someone in Aus with an N20 has tried it! I'v been tossing up my next option because stage one JB isn't cutting it no more aha. How's the flashing procedure go? Have you experienced any problems?

The n20 is a pretty good 4pot turbo, plenty of people have already done flash tunes on them, and I think they can handle a good bunch more just like its straight six brother.

So if you're coming from JB Stage 1, the smoothness of the power curve is the first thing you'll notice. It may not make as high peak power but it's more usable in my opinion.

Haven't had any issues at all. I pull on to the highway, shift into third and floor it. If it accelerates smoothly all the way to redline with no knocks then I'm good. (datalogging).

If you're in Bris (can't remember if you are... melbourne right?), you're welcome to come check it out.

That being said, I do have a spare JB Stage 1 here if anyone wants it. Happy to pass on to a Brisbane forum member for a six pack of nice craft beer...

Hey feng! Not in Bris but would be keen to grab your JB stage 1 if you're still keen to get rid of. Happy to cover shipping and making sure your beer supply is sorted!

Hi Feng, are you still running stage one? Stock car?
If not, how long did you have stage 1 with stock gear?

I recommend it! I flashed two weeks ago and the tune is absolutely smooth and the process is trouble free

Im only running stage one so no hardware is required. Although i have a K&N air filter and the added boost can really be heard!

Hi Chuck

I'm running BM3 stage 1 (98) with K&N drop in filter for about a month. It pulls a lot harder. Noticeably better throttle response even in comfort mode and D gear. I recommend it!
Probably, this is more personal opinion, I wish it has more aggressive burble on stage 1.

Id say yes but its far from loud. I only get burbles when revving the car. I dont notice any when im cruising around. Stage one wont hurt your car in any way

Nice!

Didn't realised there is a config switch for the burble. I'll test it out. Mine still on default (OEM I assumed).
Also, there is seems to be a new update for the stage 1 98, version 2.1.

Hey dude

I have probably had mine since August last year. My car is pretty much stock apart from a CAI and M-Performance axle back exhaust. Currently researching downpipe, chargepipe and intercooler combos... maybe need to do a combined post with Chuck

OTS burbles definitely more pronounced and longer. I switched mine back to OEM as it gets a bit over the top and noticable with the different exhaust. When I get a new downpipe etc I may change the volume but definitely not the length.

Stage 1 93 Octane (98 RON) is up to version 4.2 OTS for N20. Assume 2.1 is for the 335+?
