You don't need an LSD for road driving. At 99% of road speeds a proper mechanical LSD doesn't even come close to locking out. On snow the torque imbalance is so tiny that a mechanical LSD won't lock out either. In snow having the DSC off will make the car far better to drive, you will always get some slip when driving in those conditons, and no having the car fighting the slip by means of braking/throttle control is a huge bonus. I'm amazed at how people think cars need such things as this just to stay on the road.
