If this engine is like any before it then no. But this engine has only been out a year and this product just a few weeks, however people have been running the more aggressive jb4 for an entire year so far and I've not seen any failures yet. I'm sure we would have heard about it. Forums are filled with people's problems especially if the jb4 had blown someone's car up

I just ordered my JB4 so I'll be selling my jb+ for b48/b58 soon if anyone's interested

The JB+ is a pretty mild tune, so I would not be worried at all.

Looking forward to more results/experiences. The price point and simplicity are unbeatable. Any cons in driveability?

Me neither... However, Dinan said their next version for elite unit (JB4 competitor) WILL be MPPSK certified... Confirmed in writing...

The engines new and people just starting to increasingly slap the tunes on..tempted myself
I get the sense its not politically correct to badmouth JB4 cause everyones in love with it but I see some posts of people's experiences with drivetrain malfunction message running the JB.. keep in mind not everyone will posts their problems either

Both the B58 JB+ and JB4 are fully PPK compatible.

MPE is axle back only. Ppk and mppsk are used interchangeably.

A low count poster is more likely to make a "JB4 BLEW MY MOTOR!!!!" Thread than make a redundant "jb4 is great and my car feels awesome" thread.

How should the JB+ respond to a car with MPPK should the power gains be similar?

The PPK just runs around 1psi more boost from the factory. The JB+ is additive based so the delta is about the same.

This is good news guess I'll be trying it with my MPPK hopefully get to do a dyno run. I'm sure it's been discussed what is the stock boost setting, and would you recommend I dial it back since I'm already slightly above stock boost levels?

The dyno is the best place to determine that. I'd start at the mid point and go from there.

It follows the stock curves so should be like stock in terms of drivability with just more punch.

As far as driveability, unless you floor it, you won't know it's there

Please forgive my utter ignorance, but WHERE is the PDF file with the installation instructions? All I see on the Burger site is the one for the N54 JB+. Is this the same as for the B58? Not a good start.
