neo61uk Great video pal, I have the same m performance exhaust myself on my 430d and i've loved it for the past couple of years now. I'm just wondering when taking off the exhaust tips is it the same method as most others.. wd40..tap.. pull!? Also..does the original tips from before the m-exhaust install fit back onto the m-exhaust? (my car contract is going back and i'm hoping to just put the old tips on and "pretend" nothing happened to the car without having to re install the whole original exhaust. If you have any idea that would be great! |

The M tips are held with grabscrew underneath it. Easy to remove but oem stock tips wont fit as they are way smaller. So you either leave it as is or must swap the exhaust back to stock unfortunately. Good luck |

Do you have your original exhaust to go back or can we do a swap/deal to make it work for both of us? How many miles has it done? Mine is on 45k. Do BMW need to do any software updates? |

Hi all,
Appreciate that this is an old thread. After many years of reading while driving company owned Beemers I’ve broke free of the savage tax and bought myself a 435d - hence the decision to join the forum and learn more from you all! I’m looking to get a stage 1 remap and change the exhaust to improve the sound. I’ve had a couple of comments back on other posts that say it’s not worth getting an aftermarket in a diesel. The feedback on the MPASE on this thread is sooo positive. Would it really make that much difference to a 435d?? |

Looking to install this DIY, reading & translating the installation manual it states;
5. Final work and coding The retrofit system is not relevant for programming/coding. Connect the vehicle battery Carry out a function test Assemble the vehicle accordingly Can anyone confirm it doesnt require coding or programming? Its just a plug & play the way I translate that? Any help would be appreciated! |

I quite like the idea of this but not currently near the top of my current car mods. Nice clean, install that looks like. I'm assuming that's the genuine one and not the kufatec system. The kufatec does look easy enough to install DIY?
