Sorry to confirm your doubts about cleaning Luxury Line Wheels, they are not easy to clean or even keep clean. Best to apply a good wax before using, it helps a little, only a little mind you!!

Only done 150 miles so far but seem good. I will update when I have a few more miles on them. I had PA3's on the Audi and they were great so I'm expecting good things. I've gone down to 18's so the increase in ride comfort could be from: non-RFT, higher profile or it's in my head; take your pick!

I should check - you know Michelin are doing a fuel card money back offer at the moment? I ordered mine through event tyres but I assume it's available through all retailers.

Got to say the luxury wheels do look a bit of a pain to clean, however as a suggestion try Wolfs Wheel Cleaner, cracking stuff that really does get them clean without a need to agitate unless really dirty, just spray on when dry and leave for a while before jet washing off - hope it helps.

I think it's more the Independant retailers only, but if you look at the Michelin website it can tell you where is nearest.

I spend a lot of time going in straight lines on the motorways

But I'm not shy of roundabouts hence why I think I did the fronts before the rears.

Cleaning & waxing alloys with specific coatings don't last as long as you're lead to belive, not in my case anyway.

Once waxed or coated, i find they still have the brake dust after a few miles.
A bit easier to clean though after waxing, but once they are washed i want consistant shiney alloys. The only way is to wash weekly

Have used Swissvax autobahn for about 7 years, alloys on Mondeo look fine, only ever use wash mitt etc on them.

The C5, swissvax etc stop the muck sticking to alloys, it makes them so much easier to clean, literally a 2 minute job.

Although not used the expensive Swissvax, used a few less expensive others.
It's no problem doing the spokes It's the inside rims that can be a PITA to clean

Wheel whoolies are your friend

Swissvax ain't expensive, it lasts for ages and you get loads out of a tub.

It's just like getting a decent bottle wine but last longer than weekend

I used DoDo Juice Supernatural Hybrid (SNH) on my 441M winters. I'll do my 403M summers at some point over the winter, off car. I did the accessible faces, on car, soon after collection and they remained easy to clean from March to November.

The SNH is not a specific wheel wax but is a semi-synthetic car wax and does seem to make the Powder-coated silver alloys bright and a very smooth. Maybe just a bit bright...

I gave the cars a quick clean this weekend and the waxed up 441M's are easy to clean. Chunky 5 spokes, big gaps and waxed smooth.

Put mine on at weekend.

18inch staggered 400m on nonrunflat, Yokohamas

What pressures are people using in their winter tyres?

According to the card, as far as I can see, it should be 2.8 Bar front, 2.6 Bar back but after doing that, it felt like car was riding on flintstone wheels. (Normally on 19 inch 403m and have adaptive drive)

I dropped front pressures to 2.6 but was hoping ride comfort wouldn't be worse moving to nonRFTs and smaller alloy size.

I'm going to have balance of all the wheels checked tomorrow just in case it's that.
