Spoiler came today, had a quick check and dry fit and really impressed with the quality and finish.
Just need to get it fitted and my ACS springs on next week then I will be a happy boy. Cheers for the link Teaston |

And maybe a nice front splitter would rebalance the aerodynamics And so it goes on and on .......

Seems the modding bug was always there, just lay dormant for a bit. Suppose it means I will keep the car a lot longer than I had planned. Just need to resist the urge to remap now... |

I have never understood this, it you can buy a £40k car £400 for a dealer supplied spoiler isn't a big deal surely?
I got mine from the dealer new, maybe I got ripped off?? It has been repaired under warranty once since it was peeling at the corner.....

Suppose you are right - I ordered mine with the car when new so it was fitted when I picked it up. It's the way it should come when new... I haggled when buying and had it thrown in for free.
I have had my last three cars fitted with the lip spoiler from new.

Then when you get on here and see pics of cars with the lip spoiler fitted in it's own, then find out you can get one for £100 then for me it was was an easy purchase. Don't forget many of us never spend £40k on these cars and choose the lease or PCP route. £400 for a dealer fit spoiler was 25% of my total deposit! That's not a criticism of those who choose to buy they cars however for me (and I guess others) I prefer to have the money invested in appreciating assets rather than a car. And I prefer to spend £100 on stick on stuff that £400 if I can. The only thing I wish I had done from the dealers is have ACS springs fitted. Better late than never... As above.
There's a lot of kit out there that's probably the same quality as BMW parts but a fraction of the price as per the rear spoiler. Horses for course I suppose if you want the genuine parts go for it. If you happy with QUALITY replicas then go for it. Just be aware there are non quality bits out there. Just get advice off here as the OP did !!!
