if i had mhd tune with a catted DP that DOESNT throw CEL would i just flash back to stock and drive 100 miles then go in for emmisons test?

I passed with BM3 stage 1 and catted AA downpipe. I did drive car for about 20 minutes before to make sure it was warm.

Read through this about tunes, bolt-ons, and emissions. It all comes down to what your state allows. Some places allow 1 or 2 monitors to not be ready, other states require all.

Correct. I keep the tune and catted downpipe on. Drive the car for a while on highway with a few pulls first.

BM3 Stage 1 OTS tune will allow you to pass with OEM catted DP. This is how I plan to pass my 340 Stage 2 93 OTS tune with catless DP. Unfortunately there is no other way in NY to pass emissions (that I know of). Good thing the 340 DP swap is much easier than my old 335 DP.

sorry guys but, you will not pass with any tune that's on the car, you must tune back to stock, also with a catted DP it's a hit or miss that you will get a check engine light.

I'll throw my experience in. I just had mine done. Beforehand I flashed from Bootmod3 Stage 2 back to stock and chose OEM or OFF for all options (cat cel delete, cold start, etc.), so everything at stock configuration. I drove about 40 miles before the test, but only because I had errands to run. I have an Evolution Racewerks catted DP (no cel). It passed everything no problem including the cat visual and readiness.

Just passed in NY. catted vrsf downpipe w/ o2 spacer, flashed back to stock tune without any codes disabled and it passed after 100 miles of driving or so, o2 failed readiness but allowed to have 1 not ready here currently.
