Im putting a feeler out for my Dinan Stage 3 tuner, with the Dinan app you are able to switch between stage 1,2, and 3 as well as stock, so its almost line three tunes in one. This module is for an N55 EWG without MPPK. The unit is in perfect condition and is completely wire loomed as well. The only reason I'm selling is to purely just switch things up, I love the Dinan and the performance, and it being a piggy back makes it basically plug and play. The warranty is NOT TRANSFERABLE directly thru myself. The new owner would have to send it to Dinan so that they could remove my VIN and add the new owners onto it and then it would be a fresh warranty for the new owner. Like i said you have the choice of stage 1,2 or 3, so you don't actually have to be full bolt on to run this, but if you add more, the can easily bump up the tune. Feel free to message me or text/call me at (914) 3nine3 5three2zero

Warranty is not transferable unless you buy a new license from Dinan, the product is tied to a Vin #. When you sell it, it no longer carries warranty.

You do not have to buy a completely new license there is a transfer fee that can be applied that allows the warranty and license to be transferred from original vin to new vin

The transfer fee is the license fee, $1200. So yeah you can transfer the warranty and buy your product for about the same price as it costs brand new....
it's kind of shady how you misinform people, you say just enough to try to prove your point but not enough so people understand what they're buying.

Good luck with sale

I just did quite a bit of research, and i was indeed wrong with what i quoted in the ad. I was under the impression that the unit itself could receive the same warranty transfer that the car receives when it is purchased second hand. I would have to sell the unit with my car specifically for the warranty to transfer. I was never trying to be shady or scam someone out of anything, i simply misunderstood the warranty process and specifics from Dinan. This unit will work just fine in any other car, as long as it is the same specs, but there will be no transferred warranty with it. The buyer can however send it back to Dinan so they can erase my information from it, and then load a new VIN on it, and that will then have a brand new warranty for the new owner

Thank you for this response. I almost bought a used unit from someone claiming warranty would transfer, I called Dinan myself and they explained the whole process. They make it that difficult on purpose so that you end up buying new.
I didn't mean to be rude, I just think in these forums we all have to look out for each other and be wary of scammers.
Sorry to bother you.

This really probably isn't worth more than a couple hundred bucks, if that. An MHD license costs only a couple hundred and will probably do better in terms of performance. To warranty what you're selling through Dinan would cost $1200. That makes this less desirable than an MHD flash which costs about $250...

These regularly sell used for 800+ on eBay. I wouldn't sell this to anyone for a couple hundred bucks.
