2017 vs 2018 F30
I have started searching for my wife's 330i, and i was wondering...what, if any, are the differences between a 2017 and 2018 F30? Is one preferred over the other?
Thanks all...i greatly appreciate it. |

Not much difference really, both are LCI models, B48 engines. These are the final years before G20 generation so most of the bugs have been worked out long ago. I would get a 2017 model with low mileage, since they'll be cheaper than 2018 model. Always try to take as little depreciation hit as possible when buying.

Decide which options you want and either 17 or 18 may be more appealing to you personally.
The option structures changed between the two years, even though the only new item was the digital cluster. |

Aren’t there iDrive differences? I think 2018 F30 has ID6. My ‘17 340 has ID5. Also the ‘18s got the digital Speedo.

Thanks, all. It seems pretty minimal and nothing that is making me sway towards one year over the other. I guess just find the best optioned one and forget about whether it is a 17 or 18.
