The forum demographic is people who are probably more enthusiastic about their ride than your average punter, so as a result there's a higher proportion of people choosing what they consider to be an 'exciting' spec (e.g. 330d in EB II).

Vast majority of F30's/F31's I see in the wild are black, grey or silver 318d's/320d's without Xenons. Very capable cars, but not what many members would call the exciting choice.

I travel a fair bit and see mainly dull colours (my view) black, grey and white. Most of the cars I see are F30 318 or 320's ED or SE spec.

If it is an F31 it will normally be a MS in white, grey or EB11 with a 50/50 split between a 320d or 330d.

Most sports I see are Red, black or white and a modern would be silver, grey or black.

I assume all the cars with halogen DRL are company cars? They look hideous IMO, the Xenons with LED DRLs make it look like a different car! It's rare you spot a 330d out there, and usually, if you blink you miss it (nutters)

Surprising. After looking at Valencia orange I'd have thought everything looks like eb2

I'm not sure about that, but miracles do sometimes happen

My wife said "You can have any colour you want, as long as its the grey one or that lovely dark blue"e meaning tanzanite blue.

The cost and lead time on tanzanite meant I went for the grey
