2016 340i 1/4 Mile Passes @ 4200 ft elev

Went to the drag strip last night, here are my numbers:

Rocky Mtn Raceway is at 4200 ft

RUN1 - 13.74 @ 102.56 mph - Sport+, DCT not fully defeated
RUN2 - 13.66 @ 103.67 mph - Sport+, full launch control
RUN3 - 13.676 @ 103.44 mph - Sport +, full launch control

As many of you know, for launch control to work you have to actually drive around a bit, not just wait until the engine is warm. I heard it was 6 miles but I tried it at 3 miles of circling the pits and it worked.

So that's a bone stock 2016 340i AT M Sport w/ track handling on 19" wheels, oem summer performance bridgestone runflats.

I'm doing a dyno run next week then it's getting the stage 1 Dinan. Then I'll dyno again and hit the track for new numbers.

Good starting point. What's was the 60ft? I found that flashing the converter in dcs off mode works best for launching

Looks good. Question for you as I thought the Track Handling Package upgraded the tires to non run flats? What came in your Track Handlig Package?

Non-runflats are only possible with the 18 inch 398 wheels. All the others come with RFT's.

answers to questions

The post I linked to has the full time slips but here are the 60' times for each run

Run1 - 2.202
Run2 - 2.184
Run3 - 2.129

Yeah the track handling package automatically changes you over to the 18" wheels with non-runflats when you play with the configurator online, on this car the person who ordered it opted for the 19" w/ runflats. I got it with 4000 miles.

Roki187 - so fully defeated traction control got you your best time? I didn't even include one of the times because it was over 15 seconds from so much wheel spin.

B58 leaves a lot on the table. So DME is able to adjust boost to elevation, so performance doesn't get hurt as much as N55 if at all

I think the 60 foot times could be improved upon.

However racing in elevation isn't fun. Even with the turbo charge car. Nice runs

Man, that's seriously quick out of the box. I just brought mine home Tuesday so I look forward to playing with it. I chose it over a 650 gran coupe because it felt faster and more nimble.... Looks like this verifies my butt Dyno calculations

Awesome! What config details did you choose? Mine's estoril with alum/blue trim and black leather.
