Hi guys,

I'm considering trading my 230 on a 440 next year. I'd like the Track Package, which comes with non-runflat tires. I'm wondering if anyone knows what BMW includes with the package in case of a flat tire? A temporary spare? A can of Fix-A-Flat?

i could've sworn the track handling package comes with runflats...because i have the tracking handling package (give away are the added blue m calipers f/r) and mine came with runflats, when purchased new.

either way, i have a can of griot's sealer and the accompanying inflator. I've never had to use it before, but it's there in the back trunk compartment underneath the floor.

18s come non runflat as an option. 19s are run flat. I also have the THP on my 440 but with 19in/runflat

for OP: Do not believe BMW ships the car with any sort of mobility kit if you get non-runflat. However I changed my tires in the first week over to Pilot sport A/S 3+ and bought a green slime mobilty kit.

Thanks, you guys. I think I may have slightly mis-stated my original question. When I build the car on BMW's site and select the 18" V-Spoke orbit grey wheels, it requires that I add the Track Handling Package at $1700 and also clarifies that that particular wheel choice comes with with performance non run-flat tires.

If I go with the M star-spoke wheels I have a choice of run-flat or non-run-flat tires and the THP isn't required.

My 2017 BMW 440i GC came with optional THP, 19" 442M wheels, and Pirelli P Zero run flat tires.

Since run-flats aren't available on F80's, they come with a BMW MOBILITY KIT, which is an overpriced tire patch kit and compressor in the trunk. If you order your 440i, it might come with one as well. Otherwise, you can get the Griot's Garage one for less.

My track package F32 came with non-run flat summer performance tires and a compact BMW Mobility kit, fancy fix-a-flat with a compressor and separate sealant can.

Green slime is a terrible way to fix a flat, because it covers the wheel and TPMS with glue which has to be scraped off.

I built up a tire plug kit. If you have a puncture that's not too close to the sidewall, a good plug will last the life of the tire... that's happened twice for me; years of service from a plugged tire.

The kit is inexpensive to assemble, and it's all stored beneath the floor panel and in the storage compartment behind my rear seat (my car is a convertible), along with a first aid kit.
My kit:
Viar 12V tire pump (great quality!)
BlackJack tire plug kit (pro quality!)
Scissor Jack from Harbor Freight (lubricated and wrapped in plastic)
Lug wrench and 17mm deep socket
Disposable gloves
Small pliers and cutters
Small bottle of dish soap, empty spray bottle and sealed bottle of water (optional; helps find small leaks)

I wrapped the jack and lug wrench in an old T-shirt to prevent rattles, and most of it is stored under the floor of my trunk.

I totally agree with a good kit with everything you need for around town. additionally if I'm going someplace up north far from the closest dealer I bring a complete spare wheel and tire and stick it in the back. if you don't have a spare tire wheel you can use one of your snow tires. I only do this on long trips but it gives you a lot of Peace of mind.

That groit's inflator kit look nice and reviews are good. I might go with that one the BMW mobility kit just way to much over price. Also add some dyna plugs for long trips.

Thanks for posting groit's inflator kit. I've been looking Amazon, all them look cheap and brand are just never heard off.
