Memphis Motor Werks

This will be my second time using these fellows, the first time I used them was about a week after I took delivery of my vehicle. Oil change and brake fluid flush wound up being somewhere around 300 bucks. Not too too bad plus I needed the work done. I must say that I'm fairly confident in them. I have an OSI warranty but I don't think they do warranty work. Nevertheless I refused to pay bmw of Memphis 500 for what need done. Please don't judge me guys.... I'm about 600 miles overdue for a vehicle check, I'm sitting right at 82k miles. I'm one who believes in preventative maintenance so I'm getting spark plugs changed as well. Total out to somewhere around 300 bucks again I'm not sure how I feel about that but it is what it is. What other preventative measures can I take on down the line in a couple months or so. May get them to change the belt I'm.m not sure, give me some advice guys. Thanks! CHEERS

At 82k plugs and the serpentine belt could both stand replacing, especially the belt. Beyond that if you've found an indy that seems competent and trustworthy I'd take their advise.

Thank you man I appreciate an OG's advice. I'm pretty sure everything is still original so I will be getting them changed. What else can you think of

While on topic, what about coils? I'm approaching 60k, was going to do plugs and while in there was thinking to do coils as well. Thoughts?

I'd do the coils at the same time as the plugs. You can't change the plugs without pulling the coils, so you're paying the same labor either way. Cleaning the intake manifold and valves is a good idea, lest they get so bad that you have to spend big $$ to get them walnut blasted. For that you use this:

Clean the air mass flow sensor, clean the A/C coils. For the last you use this: https://www.amazon.com/Lubegard-9603...%2C170&sr=1-10

That's best done along with an oil change, taking advantage of the car being up on a lift anyway.

Does your vehicle have M Adaptive suspension? Inspecting shocks for any leaks is recommended considering number of miles.
