Help with tire selection
Hello. I am going to upgrade rims and need tires in the size
Front: 225/40 R19 Rear: 255/35 R19 I usually just go with manufacturers recommendations but these are aftermarket rims in a larger size than OEM. I'd like to buy Michelin and I'm seeing there are about a dozen tires in the W, Y, and Z category (speed rating). I do not track my car but sometimes I hit some high speeds. I live in sunny California so snow isn't an issue. I don't want to break the bank but I do want some quality. Are the MICHELIN®PILOT® SPORT A/S 3+suitable? I am also open to any other tire brand. Any recommendations would be great! Thanks Last edited by Cpatel; 09-11-2019 at 02:25 PM.. |

If you live in sunny California, I wouldn't go with an all season tire and stick with summers.
I'd take a look at TireRack and see the ratings and review on what lands in your price range. The Continental ExtreamContract Sport might be an option too. |
