Coding mistakes
Hello everyone, I ran into an issue while attempting to activate Enhanced Bluetooth on my F30. I was replicating the same process as has been done in this video:
The result of my actions is that I no longer have phone/contacts/ in my iDrive menu and most of the other functionality. Also, the CODE button in the HU_entry is greyed out and I no longer can do anything about it. The detect CAF button is greyed out. Oh, and the software that I was using: * E-sys 3.27.1 * E-sys launcher PRO V2.8.2.162 * Psdzdata (not quite sure about it, I have simply downloaded it -> unzipped it and put it into the Data folder) Any information regarding reverting the damage done and LATER successfully coding Enhanced Bluetooth is greatly appreciated. |

Quick update, fixed the issue, the thing that I've found to be the issue is the E-Sys version, I was using 27.1, and somehow it lacked the functionality, after installing 33.x I was able to get access to code the HU_entry and I reverted the changes back to the original values.

As you write yourself, that's another level of coding. |

If you flash/update the DME your tune will disappear and the DME will be have stock tune. Coding doesn't affect tune in the DME.
