For past 2 years I haven't been able to use the USB port for spotify and what not. I've read this is due to lack of charging power. Also read this is due to handshake issues

Has anyone successfully resolved this?

Mine either doesn't connect or flashes charging and not charging.

I read someone put a usb 3.0 hub in their console and it worked. I also read on here about someone who tapped the cigarette 12v for more power to the usb in the arm rest. I heard it was bc the new iPhones require more juice

I read a lot about this tonight. Thank you for directing me there. I still don't understand what enhanced Bluetooth gets you over regular Bluetooth? I already get album art from Spotify through Bluetooth and picture ID when people call. My office messages and email don't work though. Never have.


I'm not really able to find anything on increased power output. The search functionality is weak in the app. Is the thread that you're aware of you might be able to share?

I don't know what exactly the change does but it freaking worked! All I did was change this from All to First as suggested.

I'm not sure how to do enhanced Bluetooth yet though. Sometimes I can see my Spotify library and sometimes I can't. No rhyme or rhythm to having the functionality

I actually read through this thread last night. Not sure how I missed that. It seems that's for NBT_EVO only. I have HU_NBT.

I haven't checked yet but will shortly.

Is there a thread on enhanced Bluetooth you can direct me to for HU_NBT?

I don't have the option for SET_USB…. Under EXBOX (3001). I have HU_NBT. Is this option only for EVO?

Couple questions I don't fully follow
1) where do I change 6NH to 6NS and what does that do for me? I can't find these values anywhere

2) what do I need to do to get my Spotify playlist control back? I get album art already without coding anything but I can navigate my playlists anymore.

3) is there anyway to enable real-time traffic again? I would pay for it again but they disabled 3g service and connected drive.

Usb sometimes doesn't provide album art now. It's like album art coming through Bluetooth even though I'm connected via usb. If I turn off usb, then it says unknown artist.
