Fantastic build, one of the cleanest around. I assume you had to special order those wheels? I'm having a hard time finding anybody that has Works in stock in F3x fitment.

Yup, special order from Work Japan and took a gamble on the sizing...luckily the fitment worked out perfectly

Got to bump this thread and say amazing build! Looks like you're in SoCal. We should totally organize a SoCal GC meet, haha. Looking forward to seeing what's next!

Wow. Always loved these wheels on multiple platforms. Looks great on the GC as well. V2’s be V1’s. Was it worth it for the possible extra dampening?

Gorgeous Glacier Silver F36 - just like mine but minus all the mods.

Thanks for sharing!

Just to clear up a few issues with this fitment....

Having experienced lots of issues with my own set of Work VSXX in 20" on the F platform (my own is an F32).

Your fitment in the front is 8.5j ET32 no spacer required, this is the same fitment as mine. Work do not make an 8.5j wheel in ET28 (so you might be running a small 4mm Spacer to achieve this ET of 28.

Your fitment in the Rear is 10j ET48 with a 10mm Spacer (which can be seen in the photos) as work do not make a 10j in the fitment you are claiming.

In the above configuration the lips on the wheels are 2.5" front and 3" rear.

A reference to the Offsets Work wheels make can be found here which also states the mm of the lips sizes per wheel width/offset.

I've ordered a new set of wheels with the following configuration:

Front: 9j x 20 ET26
Rear: 10j x 20 ET42

The lip sizing is

front 3"
rear 3.5"

Which should see a big improvement in the overall look and dish of the wheel. Colour is burning black, polished lips and gold hardware.

This gives me "perfect" fitment on both front and rear with no spacers (which I think is important) and I'm hoping for straight bolt on, no issues with H&R Super sport springs. Time will tell, they arrive next month I hope.

I hope this post helps someone, it's bee a labour of love with Work Wheels and Driftworks in the UK (which I have to say have been absolutely AMAZING on customer service). My wheels are being replaced under warranty due to paint defects (flaking).

Cheers

G
