P115d fault code

Alright guys so I've had my 320d 2 weeks now n it's came up with engine management light, and car running weird in lower speeds ( hesitation around 30-45 mph around 3rd n 4th gear, I plugged it in got the p115d code to which I replaced the maf sensor with new one and it's still having the same problems lights back on and the engine feels hesitant again at certain speeds 😕 Any advice guys ? Anyone had this ?

So is it a 320d, or a 318d, like your profile says ?

More information needed. What age is the car, for example ?

Oh, and if you've only had it 2 weeks, then how was it bought ?
Private buy : you're on your own
Auction : you're on your own
Retail sale from a dealer : take it back there for them to fix, and look up "consumer rights act"

its a maf code but it could mean an issue before or after the maf, the maf talks to the lambdas and vice versa. ill bet money on it being either a blocked air filter or an air leak either before or after the maf. also check your replacment part, was it used? and is it the correct part * sillyish i know but happens *

check the hoses etc and listen for a hiss. check the maf connector for a greenish corrosion buildup, clean using electric contact spray, the maf sensor itself can be cleaned with some success also with the same spray gently on the thin wire .

if the part you replaced it with was new and fitted properly your issue isnt maf related but air intake related

edit: if you cant diagnose the issue yourself your car will soon throw bank codes aswell, too lean, too rich etc etc. so if you are unable to find a fix yourself get it in the garage you will save yourself a huge headache and alot of money

Thanks alot for all your help guys been tossing and turning all night I bought the car from a dealer, I have since told him the problem and he has booked me in with a BMW specialist local to me and paid for diagnosing it, I was hoping it would be just a faulty maf, but I think it's more likely to be a vacuum leak it's just trying to locate it, is going to be the headache 😩 The maf was out of a 2011 f10 520d which hasn't shown any faults however maybe that maf sensor was faulty aswell, it's booked in for Monday so fingers crossed they find either a leak or what is really going on, once again thanks for your opinions guys appreciate it 👍

The plot thickens I'm afraid guys need some advice

So the garage replaced the egr ( under warranty)
Problem persisted

Done a check came up with back pressure sensor or fault
Replaced that
Problem persisted

Done another check and the p115d code was the maf sensor
Replaced that
Problem persisted

I've now rang the garage n told them the light still on and I'm not happy, waiting for boss to call me back don't really know where to go from here smoke test? To check for caught leaks?
I can't hear any vacuum leaks to be honest I'd thought I'd hear a leak when accelerating but I suppose if it's small? I don't know, any clues folks?

Get it looked at by a dealer, with correct Bmw diagnosis system and not someone who's just throwing parts at it hoping for the best.

I know I'm thinking that but the Indy has been paid a lot of money so I sort of think it's his responsibility to sort the car

Ok well hope he sorts for you then but on a dealer Ista system the fault would be narrowed down very quickly. It is extremely good.

Did you get to the bottom of this. Have the same problem with my 330d as yours by the sounds of things. Replaced the MAF and still an issue

My 2011 535xi has codes p115d, p112f, p306d. Just had the fuel pump recall taken care of, the codes are still showing. Hesitant if I should buy a new MAF sensor... I thought taking care of the fuel pump recall would remove the engine light but no success
