Coding Seats

Hi All:

New to the forum. I bought some sport seats for my 2014 BMW 328dx wagon. They are much more comfortable. I installed them and the passenger seat works fine. The driver's seat has problems. The electrics won't allow the seat to adjust after a use or two. If I unplug the adapter and plug it back in I can get a little adjustment but then it stops working. I am assuming that this is a a computer problem and I need to tell some computer in the car that I have changed the seats. Is there someone who can tell me what software I would need and How to code (is this the correct word) my car so it will accept the more comfortable seats? Thanks in advance.
